VYF Objectives
- Help Vietnam youth build a basic knowledge about society issues and the world around them, as well as contribute to the society.
- Develop the necessary skills: leader skill, organizing skill, presenting skill, communicating skill, group work skill, ....
- Empower Vietnamese youth to make a change in themselves and in the whole society.
- Create a network of young leaders with a common interest.
VYF 2010
Introduction: VYF 2010 Vietnam Youth Forum 2010 will take place from July 18 to 22nd, in Dai Lai, Hanoi, Vietnam. 35 participants will be selected based on their concern to Vietnam’s sustainable development and their commitment to contribute to Vietnamese society. VYF is an opportunity for young people to meet, learn and discuss the challenges that Vietnam and the world are facing, as well as our roles in national development.
The issues that will be presented and discusses at VYF 2010 include culture preservation, education reform, sustainable economic development, climate change, etc... The organizing committee integrates a wide range of activities: guest-speakers’ lectures, roundtable discussion, debate, workshops and field trips in order to create an interactive environment where participants can maximize their potentials and come up with their own solutions to social issues.
